Songs are a wonderful way to learn English and to continue learning outside of the classroom. There are some limitations to learning by songs, however, so one objective of the course is to teach you how to learn from songs. In each class we will study one or two songs in depth, specifically focusing on listening skills and discussion of the meaning/hidden meaning of each song. Songs chosen will be from different times in history, so the historical context of each song will also be part of the course. This is how you’ll get a lot of opportunities to speak about the specific time in history and what you were doing specifically at this time. Join me for a fun and interactive class using songs to learn and improve your English. Maybe we’ll end up dancing as well ! :)
