In this course we will take a road trip across the United States, driving in a Pink Cadillac (referring to a song from Aretha Franklin), starting in New York City and ending in Los Angeles, California. During each class we will focus on a specific city or region visited and do creative activities around the history of the region, its culture, food, music etc. Activities will be organized to cover different areas of language development : speaking, listening, writing and reading. You will gain knowledge of the places “visited”, improve your English for traveling and get practice speaking about your own travel experiences. More than anything you will learn while having fun and get a lot of practice speaking on all things related to the United States and traveling. I look forward to traveling with you !
